V-Cam hinges are usually preferred when your impact traffic door will be subjected to high volume forklift traffic or where high pressure or draft conditions exist (on dock openings for example). V-Cam hinges typically require greater impact pressure to open and therefore are more resistant to “blowing open” where high draft or pressure conditions exist. Eliason V-Cam hinges are available in 90/90 degree or 90/180 degree configurations.
